Beer is pure joy. From the smell of malt and hops when initially boiling the wort, to the excitement of knowing that the lovely little Saccharomyces organisms are thriving in a universe that *you* created for them, to drinking previous batches while bottling the current one, beer is joy through and through.
Although I brewed a bunch back in California, I'm not setup to do it out here yet. But I'm open to (and hoping that!) anybody else that is interested in hosting will feel welcome to. If anybody's down, contact me, and we can setup a session -- I'll even bring some beer to assist the process!
Of course, a bit of research is involved in any occupation. Any leads on pubs with a good selection of taps where we can have "investigatory meetings" are wholeheartedly encouraged as well!

Our next MeetupDrinking beer at DBA- Belgian ales
Courtesy of Dominic, I have found a new beer heaven. Its name is DBA. Come join us next week and we will discuss the most dynamic of beer styles- the belgian ale. I will bring some BJCP prinouts and we will try a mock judging(aka drink belgian beers)
